How to Share Surveys Via Email?

Share surveys with your respondents via emails and collect responses effortlessly.

With Email Share, you can share surveys with your respondents via emails and collect responses, effortlessly. You can also choose to embed the first question of your survey on the email and direct them to the survey on a new tab. 

Let’s see step-by-step how this works:

1. After creating the survey, navigate to the Share tab and click on Send Email.

2. You can customize the email share to suit your requirements.
3. You can change the sender address and the language.

4.  Edit the subject and preheader text of the mail to suit your campaign.

5.  You will have 2 options- To start the survey with the
5.1. Get Started in the email, will take the recipient to the surveyClick on "Get Started" button
5.2. If you choose to embed the survey, you can select the question you want to include in the email.
The first question should be in any one of these question types - Rating, Opinion Scale, Multiple Choice, Picture Choice to embed it in your email

Image6. You also have the option to accept anonymous responses if you do not want to identify the respondent.

7. You can choose the list of recipients to send the email to, or create a new contact list and use it here.Image

You can also import the contacts as a CSV file.

8.You can also schedule the mail for a later time. If you want to send it at a later date, you can schedule the email. You will have three options: Send immediately, Send later, and Send based on conditions.

Send immediately – You will be able to send the email right away without scheduling.Image

Send later – You can select the date, time, and time zone when you want the email to be sent.Image
Send based on conditions – You can set conditions for when the email should be sent and also select the time and time zone. For example, you can choose to send it a specific number of days after an event, such as when the date is created.

9. Send reminders – It is a best practice to set reminders for non-respondents to encourage them to complete the survey. You will have the option to send reminders to non-respondents and partial respondents, and you can choose the frequency and when the reminders should be sent.
