The SurveySparrow app within Webex makes it easy to share interactive surveys during your Webex meetings. Gather valuable insights from participants, and make data-driven decisions in real time.
In this article, we’ll go through the steps of setting up SurveySparrow within Webex and sharing surveys in meetings.
Note: You must download the Webex desktop app in order to connect with SurveySparrow.
- Start the meeting inside Webex, then click on Apps at the bottom of the page.
- When the Apps panel opens, type ‘SurveySparrow’ in the search box and click on the result.
- When the SurveySparrow info page opens within the panel, click on Open.
- The SurveySparrow app opens in the right panel. Click Login to SurveySparrow to connect your account to Webex.
- Type in the email associated with your account, then click Next.
Note: If your email ID is connected to multiple SurveySparrow accounts, you will be asked to select one of them.
- Type your password, then click on Log in.
- You will see a final authorization screen. Click on Authorize.
- After logging in, you will be able to see the surveys in your account.
- To select a survey to share with attendees, hover over it. When you see the arrow icon to the right of the survey’s name, click on it.
- To make the survey accessible to the participants, click on Open for all.
Note: When the survey is shared, the participants will see the survey pop up in a panel on the right side of their screen.
- When you are ready to close the survey, click on Close for all.
- A final warning screen appears. Click on OK to proceed with the survey closure.
- If you want to open another survey, first click on Unshare to the right of the current survey’s name. Then hover over the next survey and repeat the previous steps.
The results of the surveys will be available in your SurveySparrow account for review.
Note: There’s another way to open the SurveySparrow app. Within the Webex app, click on More in the left panel, then click on App Hub.
When the App Hub opens, type ‘SurveySparrow’ in the search box on the right, then click on the result.
When the app’s page opens up, click on Add App, then click on Try in meeting.
A meeting is automatically created for you. Click on Join meeting.
When the meeting starts, the SurveySparrow app is automatically open on the right. Then repeat the steps outlined above.
