Set up your own WhatsApp Business Service Provider account easily to send WhatsApp surveys.

Let’s get started with configuring your WhatsApp Business Service Provider in SurveySparrow.
1. Log in to your SurveySparrow account.
2. Navigate to your account’s Settings.
3. Under Messaging, go to the WhatsApp section.
4. Click Connect to your provider.
5. Click Custom.
Connecting With Your WhatsApp Business Provider Account
1. Add the details of your WhatsApp Business Provider for reference.
2. Enter the URL endpoint of your WhatsApp Business Provider to which an API request will be sent for authentication.
3. Click the dollar icon and add the required placeholders to the API request URL.
4. Choose a Request type for the URL endpoint added before.
5. Click Add new row and add the required headers to the API.
6. You can choose to select the preloaded request body for commonly used WhatsApp Business Providers or add the ones specific to your provider.
7. Click on the dollar icon to add the required placeholders to the request body.
8. Now, click Save and Continue.
That’s all about configuring and authenticating your WhatsApp Business Service Provider. Now, you’re all set to add the message templates to access them from your WhatsApp share section in SurveySparrow.

- Refer to your WhatsApp Business Provider’s API documents to get your account’s following details:
- URL endpoint
- Request Type
- Custom Header
- Request body
- Placeholders are elements that will be replaced by actual values during each API call to send a message. For example, “{template_placeholder}” will contain the variable structure that you’ll be using in the message template.
- Based on your WhatsApp Business Account Provider, add “{template_placeholder}” to your Request body. “{template_placeholder}” will be referencing to Configured Template Variables in your message template created in SurveySparrow.
